A three-branch clinic in Sonipat was ranking on page two for “clinic near me” in its own pincode. Nothing about the medicine was wrong.
The listing problems were small individually and expensive together. One branch had never been verified, so its profile was suppressed. A second had a duplicate listing split across two owner emails, each with a different phone number. The third had reviews going to the old brand name from before the signage changed.
Search demand for a clinic within two kilometres is mostly map-pack demand. When the pack shows a competitor with a verified profile, a correct number and forty fresh reviews, the click never reaches your website at all – so the traffic report looks like a marketing failure when it is a listing failure.
The fix took a week and no ad spend: claim and verify, delete the duplicates through the profile wizard, unify the phone number everywhere it appears, then put review requests on the appointment-close step. Ranking in the pack followed within thirty days.
