Lifecycle
The journeys we build, in the order they fire
Five flows carry most of the revenue an email programme can produce. Each one is triggered by something a person already did — none of them is a newsletter.
-
01
Trigger: first signup
Welcome
Three to five mails across two weeks: what happens next, the one objection that stops a first order, then the offer. This flow sets the send-time baseline for everything after it.
-
02
Trigger: viewed or left
Browse and cart abandon
Written to remove the friction that stopped them, not to repeat the product page. Frequency capped so it never becomes the reason someone unsubscribes.
-
03
Trigger: order confirmed
Post-purchase
Receipt, what to expect and when, how to reach a human, then the review ask on the right day. This is the flow that decides whether a customer becomes a repeat or a one-off.
-
04
Trigger: 90 / 180 days quiet
Win-back
Segmented by what they bought and how recently, with a real reason to come back rather than a discount on principle.
-
05
Trigger: second order
Referral and review
Asked at the moment the product has already proved itself, into a flow that thanks the referrer as well as the referee.
Straight answer
Good fit, bad fit
Before a call about Content & Email Automation, check it against both lists. Being pointed at the wrong service costs a quarter; being pointed away costs nothing.
This works when
- A store or service with a repeatable second purchase
- An existing list, even a messy one, that can be segmented
- Someone who can approve a template change in a day
This is the wrong call when
- A one-time, high-ticket sale where nobody returns
- A purchased list — it costs deliverability, not just reputation
- Any plan that starts by emailing everyone every week
Process
Five steps, no mystery months
Every engagement moves through the same track. You always know which step you are on and what leaves with you at the end of it.
01
Discovery
Two workshops. We map the funnel, the systems and the numbers you are actually judged on.
Leaves: brief, audit, success metrics
02
Strategy
Channels, sequencing and scope with effort and expected return attached to each line.
Leaves: roadmap, media plan, SOW
03
Design & build
Weekly staging links. Nothing is reviewed for the first time at the end.
Leaves: staging site, design system
04
Launch
Tracking verified, performance budgeted, rollback ready before DNS moves.
Leaves: live site, QA report
05
Grow & report
Monthly numbers, one call, and a plan that changes when the data does.
Leaves: report, next sprint plan

Questions about Content & Email Automation
Do you write the emails too?
Yes. Strategy, segmentation, copy, template build and the testing plan are one job; splitting them across a writer, a designer and an operator is where the tone goes missing.
Which platform?
Brevo, Klaviyo and Google Sheets for the simple cases, and we will tell you if the one you are on is already enough. Migration is a project line, not a surprise.
What happens to our deliverability?
It is designed in: authenticated domain, warmed sending, list hygiene, unsubscribes honoured instantly, and a suppression rule for anyone who has not opened in a year. A smaller list that lands is worth more than a big one that does not.
Who owns the list?
You do, and it exports as a clean CSV at any point in the engagement. The flows are documented so another operator can run them without us.
